Rule 12
Accepting bids or sealed bids

(1) The following authority shall have the right to approve the bid or sealed price list for construction work or purchase of goods:-
(a) from the Chairman up to three lakhs of rupees,
(b) more than three lakh rupees from the village development committee.
(2) After acceptance of bids or sealed bids approved in accordance with clause (a) of sub-rule (1), the information thereof shall be submitted to the meeting of the Village Development Committee held immediately thereafter.
